OUGD502 / Taking care of business / Starting up

We are: economically friendly design studio which designs for print, screen and the environment.

How we work: work together - then divide depending on the brief.

Targeting: design conscious companies, independent companies/businesses.

How we're different: the way in which we deal with clients, make it personal.

How we promote: design on the streets (environment), design for kickstarter projects, leave prints in design hot spots, competitions, social media.

Name: eko (because economically friendly, possibly pronounced 'echo').
Aloe (because green / sounds like hello).

Maddison Graphic - design studio in Norwich
The aesthetic of this design company appeals to me as they use a lot of bright, fun colours, and playful geometric shapes, as well as being very neat and ordered. I like how they create prints as well as publications, posters etc.

OUGD502 / Dreams

I want to work abroad in many different places such as Berlin, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Rotterdam, and more.

I want to work for small design studios as well as big, as I think I will only learn what I like and how I work best through experiencing different surroundings.

I want to work in many different areas in design to discover my strengths and weaknesses.

I eventually want to work creatively in a flexible job I enjoy and am passionate about, to experience new cities in different countries and find somewhere and something I love.

OUGD502 / Studio Brief 01 / Creative report

'You must demonstrate a more refined understanding of the graphic design and creative industries particularly by researching and reflecting on the operating practices of local, national and international designers and studios.'

When I think of graphic design studios I would aspire to work in one day, I think of these:
